What's New, What's Hot is Travel Weekly's look at useful and fun travel gadgets, edited by Joe Rosen. First up, the Wander Wet Bag. Although winter is soon upon us, it's never too late for this eco-friendly, reusable cotton wet bag. It is the perfect accessory for stowing cash, credit cards, keys and the like that you want to remain dry or to keep your wet things apart from the clean and dry items in your tote. The bags boast print exteriors, waterproof linings, are machine washable and have a breathable fabric to prevent mold and mildew.

This outdoorsy men's hat from the dependable Wallaroo company adds an 8.5-inch-long back flap to protect a wearer's neck from the sun (it's UPF 50 plus, which means the fabric will block at least 97.5 percent of the sun's ultraviolet rays). A Velcro pocket in the brim stows the flap when it is not needed. The Shelton hat, which has an internal drawstring that adjusts the sizing, also features an adjustable chin strap to keep it secure in windy conditions.

This camera-carrying system is built around the Spider Holster, which is designed for mirrorless and small DSLRs. The holster, which has an all-metal construction, can be slipped on any belt to enable a camera to be attached or removed for quick and easy shooting. It is also compatible with any tripod plate. The SpiderLight Backpacker Kit includes a version of the holster that can be worn on a belt, backpack or messenger bag and allows full compatibility with GoPro accessories and cameras.

A vest carrier that distributes the weight of a camera ergonomically, the CCS G3 Camera Harness System can support and accommodate a camera and a long lens. It boasts a quick-release waist belt, two front pockets for carrying small items and a large pocket on the back. A patented Twist&Lock mount system keeps the equipment secure but always at the ready. A lens hold-down strap, which formerly was secured by Velcro, now has a quieter snap closure.

Offering one-hand folding, unfolding and driving, the Babyzen Yoyo+ Stroller allows you to roll it aboard a plane with its four-wheel suspension and then stow it as hand luggage. It folds into a 20.5 by 17 by 7-inch package, a size recognized as cabin luggage by most airlines. This all-in-one stroller has its own car seat, a flat carry-cot for infants, a five-point harness, a two-position sun canopy (150-plus UPF) and a headrest. The backrest can be inclined to 145 degrees; a rain cover is included, as is a transport bag.

Recessed wheels and handles contribute to the Victorinox Lexicon Hardside Medium Case's ample packing space, but it is the latest molding technology responsible for its polycarbonate shell that makes it possible for this eight-wheel spinner to tip the scale at only 10.2 pounds. This is a notably light load for luggage that has a capacity of almost 4,500 cubic inches. Measuring 17.7 by 26.7 by 11 inches, it comes with X-shaped compression straps, two zippered mesh accessories pockets, a zippered divider wall and a TSA-approved combination lock.
