The ECBC Hercules K7102 backpack offers a protective compartment for most laptops in addition to a fleece-lined pocket for a smartphone and a padded tablet pocket. ECBC's own "Fastpass" system makes for speedy security checks as well as easy access to your laptop. The Hercules, which weighs 2.7 pounds and measures l8.4 by 12.13 by 7.1 inches, has an air-mesh back panel, dual zippered beverage/utility pockets, front zippered document pocket, heavy-duty zippers, a water-repellent exterior and an adjustable sternum strap.

A patented support system that is designed to relieve pressure and stress on your upper and lower back caused by excessive backpack weight makes the Airbac Journey unique. An air cushion in the bag adjusts to your body's shape to alleviate weight-load pressure; moreover, wide shoulder straps and an adjustable waist belt enhance stability. The latest product from Magellan, the Smart GPS, uniquely combines a typical direction-determining GPS and a smartphone to push real-time and local information from Yelp and Foursquare to the device's 5-inch screen. The screen also displays local fuel prices, traffic updates and area weather. Moreover, in-depth destination searches for points of interest and addresses can be downloaded directly from your phone to the Smart GPS via a WiFi or Bluetooth connection.

According to the manufacturer, Zylast antimicrobial products such as its alcohol-based Antiseptic, its water-based Antiseptic Lotion and skin moisturizer and its Antiseptic Foaming Soap are formulated to "kill 99.99% of common microbes on the hands immediately ... [and] the Zylast Antiseptic was shown to kill 99.97% of norovirus on contact -- more than 100 times as effective as alcohol alone." Does it really work? A host of references from labs and medical journals and a recent test in a Chatsworth, Calif., school seems to indicate it does.
