Passengers embark the Carnival Magic in Venice on May 1.

The stage show prior to the naming of the Carnival Magic featured a dance spectacular and ended when the curtain rose to reveal a helicopter carrying Carnival Cruise Lines CEO and President Gerry Cahill. Cahill stepped off the helicopter to welcome guests to the ship's naming ceremony May 1.
