Over the last two decades, hotel brands ranging from one-off independents to badges of the world's largest chains have embraced the ''lifestyle'' label. Here are a few recent attempts that hotel companies have made to harness the concept. First up is ''New-normal lifestyle,'' represented by Hyatt Centric (upper upscale, according to STR's chain scale). San Francisco's Hyatt Centric Fisherman's Wharf hotel, whose brand debuted in 2015, takes a more muted approach to the lifestyle sector, with soothing hues.
