Location and History
This deluxe-leaning boutique offering has a unique history. However, while it is certainly a palace of sorts, it was originally built for a different kind of royalty. True to its name, Singer Palace opened in 1931 as the Italian headquarters for Singer sewing machines.
No pun intended, the building has earned a place in the annals of haute couture. When Mr. Singer first opened the doors he sold more than one thousand state-of-the-art sewing machines, connecting with every major fashion house in business at the time.
