Location and History

This spunky, upscale resort has a fashionably updated colonial attitude. Superior to the pair of adjacent Majestic hotels—though not by a lot—this place wins repeat business with its excellent service, fine dining and dreamy modern guest quarters.

The a la carte options do require reservations for guests not booked into the upgraded Diamond section. However, there are no dining limits.

While tasteful dress is encouraged, men are not limited to long pants or close-toed shoes as they are at other resorts (a perk in hot weather).
