Located next to Seaside Beach State Park, about 10 minutes north of Cannery Row and the Monterey city center, this boxy beachfront hotel, formerly a Best Western, is a longtime area favorite of frugal visitors.
More than anything, the location has a lot to do with its popularity, as beachfront resorts are hard to come by in these parts, and anywhere for that matter.
