Location and History
This is the tallest building in the country and the first Westin in South America, a towering 30-story, glass skyscraper that glows from the top and cost a reported US$130 million. It is also Lima's largest convention center hotel by far, the aim being to lure in large events that previously had to pass on the city because of insufficient facilities.
Situated in upscale San Isidro, a busy central banking and business zone, the hotel's spacious entrance is usually bustling with taxis and limos, suited doormen and hustling bellhops in uniform.
