Aston Mahana at Kaanapali

Location and History

This pair of 12-story condo towers pops up on the north end of Kaanapali's long narrow strand like a slice of Miami Beach. But it's mai tais, not mojitos, that calm the nerves here.

Near the inferior Aston Papakea, this twin-tower complex has a limited scope but is built right on the shoreline—a very narrow swath of grass and sand separates it from the ocean. The property's insurers grimace; however, guests here enjoy perhaps the closest proximity to watery fun.
