Location and History

This luxurious resort (affiliated with Emirates Airlines and Marriott Luxury Collection) is as close to an oasis in the desert as they come. Composed of private tented cabins designed to imitate a Bedouin camp, the accommodations are far plusher on the inside than they initially appear.

Located almost an hour to the east from bustling Dubai (closer to the Omani border), this resort sits in a stunning Conservancy, dedicated to the protection of wildlife, allowing protected animals such as Arabian Oryx and graceful gazelles to roam free—you might catch a glimpse of them as you drive in.
