Location and History

Situated about 10 miles south of the city and the airport (CLT), with easy access off Interstate 485, the city's beltway, The Ballantyne serves as the anchor for the Ballantyne community and its upscale shops, restaurants and business park. This is the city's only true resort offering, and with two decades of operation under its belt, it has created a name for itself from all around the southeast.

With manicured lawns, formal landscaping and a small pond on the property and flanked by unaffiliated residences, a mixed-use development still under construction and a greenway with access to a six-mile walking path that runs through Ballantyne, the seven-story postmodern building rises above a sea of greens with a domed tower at its center and balconies symmetrically positioned in the center and at each end.
