Location and History
Located in the Four Corners area, near the border between Utah and Arizona, a two-and-a-half-hour drive south of Bryce Canyon and about the same from St. George, this is Aman Resort's second stateside venture, and it is the most exotic of the two. (Amangani, its only other U.S. sibling, is a modern, minimalist ranch in the shadow of the Tetons, just outside Jackson Hole, Wyoming.)
Amangiri, which translates to "peaceful mountain" in Sanskrit, is surrounded by iconic, 200-million-year-old mesas and thrilling rock spires.
