On calm Carlisle bay, 2 kilometers outside of Bridgetown, this older, relaxed coastal hotel lies on the Caribbean side with the calmest beach on the island, where every morning West Indian race horses from the nearby paddock come to bathe. This bathing of the racehorses around 6-7 am is an interesting sight that you can admire from any of the 14 rooms that have a balcony facing the beach. Should your room not face the water, you can still easily walk down to the beach from any room of the hotel.
