This hotel is located one block south of its sibling, Der Kleine Prinz, and it is the more romantic and expensive of the two. This place is set in a two-story neo-Renaissance 1874 manor lush with belle-epoque opulence but limited in facilities.
However, it offers sumptuous period surroundings and graciously appointed guest rooms with none of the glitz and a price tag that mortals can bear. The owners who run the pair of prime properties, former Manhattanites, continue to pour heart and soul (and plenty of their money) into this fabulous little gem.
