Location and History

While its lineage dates from 1929—Winston Churchill stayed here while writing his memoirs in 1948—a new look has given this commercial hotel in a more modern mold, with the kind of Euro-contemporary styling usually associated with urbanites in Paris or Milan.

With the brand affiliation, the hotel has sacrificed its patina of history, but gained almost as much in its transformation into a modern 21st-century hostelry.

The moderate rates and a central location near the Cours Mirabeau are icing on the cake.
