Four Seasons Resort Lanai has augmented its ocean programming with a new high-speed fishing boat. The Lanai V is a 45-foot luxury vessel operated by a crew from Lanai Ocean Sports.

The boat features twin hulls, teak decks with day beds and seating, berth, galley, washroom facilities, air conditioning and pop-up shades. There is seating for scuba divers with tank racks and fishing amenities include a fresh bait sink, carbon fiber outriggers and deck storage for ice and fish.

A four-hour fishing excursion ($240 per person) is offered where anglers can try catching Ono, Ahi, Barracuda, Elua, Papio, Mahi Mahi, Marlin and many other types of Hawaiia bottom fish. Participants can keep their catch and bring it back to be prepared by the resort chef for a fresh seafood dinner.

A two-tank scuba outing ($249 per person) includes the chance to explore dive locations such as Cathedrals, Kaunolu, Fish Rock or Menpachi Caves where visitors will find underwater coral grottoes, lava caves and abundant tropical sea life.

Four Seasons Resort Lania also offers daily snorkel sails, whale-watching tours and sunset sails on a 50-foot catamaran. Private charters are available, starting at $1,200 for a two-hour tour for up to six guests.
