After months of extensive renovations, Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina in the British Virgin Islands is almost fully up and running. The resort closed last September following Hurricane Irma.
As of now, guests have access to 26 rooms and suites in Marina Village, out of the 52 total guest rooms. The rest of the rooms will reopen at the end of December.
Among the villas, the two-bedroom Pool House, Cliff House, and Beach House, as well as the three-bedroom Mariner House and four-bedroom Reef House and Villa Mila are all open. Still to come in November are the Sunset House, the Passage House and the Windward House.
The Ixora Spa is currently located in the Passage House villa and will offer multiple treatment rooms, a private pool and a new beachfront cabana where guests can enjoy treatments.
An upgraded WiFi network has been added, with faster service and expanded coverage throughout the entire resort.
Donovan's Beach has a newly resurfaced, multitiered infinity pool and bar, and North Beach has been expanded.
