The weather in Salzburg has been unseasonably warm this fall and this weekend was no different. The perfect weather afforded a great opportunity to stroll through the Mirabell Palace and Gardens, a location that offers a quaint area to stroll and sit amongst the many fountains and sculpture gardens.

The ''Dwarf Garden'' features sculptures of misshapen diminutive characters that were modeled after individuals who served as entertainment in the court of Prince Archbishop Franz Anton Harrach.

Continuing on the walk through Salzburg, participants walk down the Getreidegasse, Salzburg's famous shopping lane.

At the base of the Hohensalzburg Fortress cliff, the tracks of the funicular railway await to take the group up to the fortress perched above.

Guests are given the opportunity to walk around the interior courtyards and pathways of the Hohensalzburg Fortress.

After the welcome reception, guests arrive at the Stiegl Keller Salzburg in nearby Old Town. The Stiegl Keller is a perfect example of the Salzburg beer garden culture.

Inside the Stiegl Keller, guests find their seats and prepare for a meal of traditional Austrian culinary dishes.

A special performance at the end of the dinner featured singers dressed in traditional Austrian outfits, known as ''Trachten,'' performing songs from ''The Sound of Music.'' They ended the night with a rendition of the song ''So Long, Farewell.''
